- Bob Margolin
Steady Rollin' Bob Margolin boasts musical experiences few others can claim. From 1973 to 1980, he was the guitarist behind the legendary Muddy Waters. Since then Bob's jammed with nearly every blues star and toured with Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, the Band, Dylan and the Stones.
On Hold Me To It, the explosive combination of Margolin's articulate slide and deep-rooted, commanding vocals ignite a program featuring eight original tunes and covers including Bob Dylan's "Not Dark Yet" and a duet with Big Bill Morganfield on "Wee Baby Blues."
Bob describes the Chicago blues of his formative years as "real soulful music and down to earth music. In that way it's attractive to soulful people. That's one of the nicest things I learned about this music, it brings those kind of people together."
